its a wet wet sunday. not exactly my type of day.. friend's birthday.. sunyu.. time for paintball.. oh man.. and i slept at 2 am the day before.. but then again, a birthday is a birthday.. i gave her the pair of earings.. thus we made our way to the paintball site, only to find that it was the wrong place and actually was the office.. sighz.. so much for the organising.. after much calling and worrying, the people finally told us the correct place and we took a cab there..
upon reaching, the sight of muddy ground and woody forests greeted us.. not the picture we imagined.. but then again, a little jungle warfare wouldnt do no harm i thought? lol.. boy was i wrong.. dressed in army suits, another funny experience, and having to wear a visor/mask all the time, i looked sort of close to a bio hazard personnel.. lol... they told us to keep the goggles on for the bullets that shot out were close to 200mph and could take ure eyeballs out of your sockets.. lamer.. but then, there was a certain truth to that!.. after applying the antifog, the battle began as we were divided to 2 teams, one red and another yellow. each having to join the team that was already there.
ok.. well, nothing came close to what we had imagined,.. capture the flag, kill everyone and survive.. u name it, the scenarios were pretty interesting.. lol... everything was extremely fun i thought, including smoke bombs that were thrown around.. not from me as they cost too much.. haha.. each of us bought paintballs for the game.. a 100 for £6.. not exactly cheap at all.. but then, without bullets, there was no game. and so i had a whale of a time.. the bullets did sting a little as they hit my arm, but left no traces.. but not for my poor friends.. haha.. especially the girls... who came home with numerous bruises and bumps, on the head especially. hahah.. not me.. it wasnt too bad at all.. and i did think i killed some, just that it became too foggy towards the end.. and the radius of my vision had shrunk to such a small magnitude that at the last game, when some ass shot me, i couldnt tell where he was! damn.. if not i would have pumped all my remaining bullets into his sorry ass.. hahaha.. but then again, once we were shot, we had to get out of the game.. walking with our hands up.. this could be confusing as people could take their chance and shoot at you.. lol.. rain started falling as we played through 10 rounds of games..
lunchtime.. pizza from pizza hut.. already ordered fresh and hot.. didnt know that that was included in the playing fees.. lol.. cool.. so after a hot lunch in a rainy weather, we continued the jungle game..
on the whole.. everything was perfect.. the game, the gun, the armor, the look.. all.. hahah.. all except the playing ground, the muddy ground made running and sprinting tough.. man.. i would have taken them all off if i had the traction!.. haha.. a fun day
it ended with dinner at a italian restaurant where i enjoyed a lagsane.. quite nice.. and after that we went to the birthday girl's house to rest for a while before ajourning home at 11.. not very smart as everyone was dead beat and found school the next day not exactly fun.. hahaha...
